How to add post thumbnail images at teaser box in thesis homepage

Here is how to add a image to the teaser box in thesis homepage using thesis hacks without using any plugins in WordPress 3.2.1

Thesis theme offers inbuilt feature to add image inside the teaser box in Home Page .

For easy understanding i have also made a video on this tutorial

Here is how to do it

Change the Thesis settings :

#Go to WordPress dashboard and select Thesis menu>>Design Options

#Under Teaser Display Options , make sure the post experts option is selected.

#Then go to Post Images and Thumbnails>>Default Post Image Settings

#Choose the options as shown in the image above

#You can choose the options according to your wish

#Then go to Post Images and Thumbnails>>Default Thumbnail Settings options

#Choose the positions where you want to add the Image Thumbnail in teaser box

#Now change the default thumbnail width and height as 125 and 125

Upload and add the image url to the Post image And Thumbnail options:

#Now open the post and upload the image which you want to see in the thesis teaser box in homepage .

#Now copy the image url as shown in the image

#Now Paste the copied url to Post image And Thumbnail as shown.

#Now Publish or update your post

#Your new post with the image thumbnail you selected is shown in the thesis teaser box.
